Ministry, most often for me, has to do with my engagement in serving my congregation or ministering to the radical movements I am part of.  However for the purpose of this page my ministry emphasized is a Ministry of Movies.  We all have our different self-care tactics and one of mine is to go to the beautifully air-conditioned, stale-popcorn smelling, urinal over-flowing, over-crowded movie theater.  Unfortunately, I have not yet gotten over my bit of guilt about this amazing indulgence.  I often feel bad when I love the cheesiest romantic comedy or can’t wait to shout for the good guys in the action flick.  So my way of dealing with that guilt (outside of deep personal reflection *grin*) is to write movie reviews from now on.  These movie reviews will come from my own eye and will emphasize an anti-racist, feminist, queer, anti-capitalist critique as well as a pure love of Hollywood crap.  Feel free to share your own reviews or reflections as well.
