This is Me!
My name is Jason. I am an abolitionist queer clergy person. This website is my attempt to bring together as many aspects of myself as possible as well as to serve queer/trans people in prison and the abolitionist movement as best as possible. I am by no means an amazing website editor or creater but do want to get as much information out there into the world as I can. I am always looking for great folks to talk with and strategize with about abolishing the prison industrial complex with. It is vital that we establish accountable processes that honor the experience of those most impacted by the prison industrial complex. This means we must listen to the voices of people of color, low-income/poor folks, and all those targetted by police violence and surveillance. Queer and trans people are so often left out of the organizing around anti-prison work and mainstream gay/lesbian organizations won’t touch this issue with a 10 foot pole. I hope to utilize some of this space to put things out there.
Other fun things about me include my love of riding bikes, writing fun sermons, organizing events, going to opening night of movies at big theaters, and dancing my butt off all the time. Right now I dream of hanging out with lady gaga… more on that later.
