There are more than 2.3 million people locked up in prisons and jails around the United States.  There are 58 people listed on this one particular list.  Queer folks in prisons and jails are suffering and need to be reminded that they are loved and not forgotten.  Please drop someone or multiple folks a post card.  Send a long detailed letter.  Get to know someone.  However it is that you communicate, do it.  Send a picture your god-child drew.  List their name on a prayer list.  Whatever it is you do, PLEASE connect!  We will dismantle this system one day and need to build relationships in order to see that happen.
