		<description>He built his song as a discussion of racial stereotypes. He also speaks about the stereotype of black males in prisons (&quot;black man, black male, throw your brother in jail&quot;). I can understand how you would be sad if you read those lines as perpetuating a stereotype of your self-identified group, but he himself was born a black male and, if you read the song from your perspective, completely admonishes the identity of his ancestors and immediate family</description>

As a poor queer Jewish woman whose family has been poor for generations, it saddens me how people think Jews are all rich or middle class when white Jewish poverty in the States is higher than white non-Jewish poverty, and brown and black Jews have even higher rates of poverty but people tend to think none of us exist.

Hopefully we can see how oppressions are interconnected and not depend on one form of bigotry and oppression to combat another form.</description>
